Four Marks, the Village. Four Marks is a village and civil parish in the East Hampshire. It is 4.4 miles (7.1 km) southwest of Alton and about 55 miles from London on the A31.
Four Marks is a small local service centre, with a variety of shops including a chemist, bakery, hairdressers, cycle and sports shop, opticians, flower shop, wine shop and off licence, Post Office counter service, coffee shops and take-away food establishments and several small convenience stores.
The village has its own restored railway station on the Watercress Line, services from which connect with the nearest national rail station 4.4 miles at Alton and also to New Alresford an ancient Market Town. There is also a large Recreation Ground, with a variety of sports and recreational facilities for all ages, and other open space areas and a network of footpaths to enjoy the rural environment and abundance of local wildlife.
