DANCE FOR PARKINSON’S - EAST TISTED VILLAGE HALL

A new weekly dance class is hoping to start after Easter in East Tisted to provide support and enrichment for local people living with Parkinson’s.

Dance teacher Penny Bryett, who has 29 years of experience in teaching dance to children and adults, will be at the helm of the initiative at East Tisted Village Hall looking to start on Friday 25th April. She currently leads the Dance for Parkinson’s class in Winchester and has the Advanced Training Qualification from the Mark Morris Dance for Parkinson’s organisation.

Participants will be introduced to the proven benefits of dance and music for people living with Parkinson’s. Different dance genres will be included in the class with varying levels for participants abilities. Improvement in posture, mobility, balance & co-ordination will improve along with the chance to meet new people and socialise. No previous dance experience is needed!

The classes cost £7 each and carers go free of charge. To find out more or register, please contact Penny at bryettschoolofdance.co.uk or by phone at 01962 863061
