Household Support Fund

Round 2 of the Infrastructure Costs Provision under Household Support Fund 7 will open for applications from 15 September 2025 and will remain live until midnight on 28 September 2025.

The Household Support Fund is distributed by the Department for Work and Pensions to support vulnerable households to ensure they do not go without basic necessities such as food and fuel. The fund is intended to benefit a broad range of low-income households, including:

  • Families with children of all ages
  • Pensioners
  • Unpaid carers
  • Care leavers
  • Disabled people

Round 2 will focus on applications for infrastructure costs, with further details to follow shortly. Eligible projects include:

  • Food banks, community pantries, and food support initiatives (both existing and new)
  • Sustainable food support projects, such as surplus food redistribution
